Pump Class

our classes

Met Con

Our 45min Met Con (metabolic conditioning) classes are mostly timed so you can work at your own pace (e.g. as many rounds as you can in a certain amount of time). Met Con is geared towards keeping your heartrate elevated and sustained for the duration of the class with minimal recovery periods. The benefits of Met Con include cardiovascular conditioning, building strength – and your body will be burning calories for hours after you have finished your workout. Not only is Met Con beneficial for total body conditioning, it’s a great way to condition your mind through focused action – the commitment to lean in when it feels tough!

HIIT

High intensity interval training (HIIT) involves short bursts of intense exercise alternated with low intensity recovery periods. HIIT can be easily modified for people of all fitness levels. Our 45min HIIT class usually involves aspects of using body weight and held weights to build strength and doing cardio exercises. And it’s fun!! HIIT can improve anaerobic fitness and cardiovascular health and fat loss while maintaining muscle mass. Bonus points for increasing metabolic rate for hours after you finish!

Mobility & Core

Energise your day by coming to our 45min Mobility and Core class. It’s similar to a Pilates or calisthenics workout – think toned, strong and agile. Aimed at improving mobility and building a strong and functional core, this class is much slower than your traditional circuit class but still packs a punch! Optional: bring a yoga mat (also available at the studio if needed).

Pump

Pump is a 60min choreographed barbell class. This is a total body workout with ten funky music tracks to work through the entire body. With its evidence-based moves you’ll burn calories, shape and tone your entire body, build lean muscle mass and core strength, all while having fun! We often change up the class to a different Pump so you regularly get new choreography and music.

Balance

Our ever-popular 60min Balance class! Strengthen and lengthen with a combination of yoga-like moves, Pilates and body weight exercises. Find inspiration with music that motivates you to keep going through the strength challenges and then helps you relax into the stretch sequence. Be prepared to go home feeling great!! Optional: bring a yoga mat (also available at the studio if needed).

Functional Flex

Functional Flex is aimed towards improving flexibility. A little different from mobility, flexibility is the practice of lengthening our muscles over time. This has a wide range of benefits for almost everyone (including an increase in mobility as well.) This not your average stretch class! Our 45min classes utilises common gym exercises in our sessions – pull-ups? Yup. Kettle bells? Yeah! Work with a partner through a series of exercises and stretches and record your improvements in class as well as over time. Each class focusses on a target area such as hips, hamstrings or the spine.

Hybrid

Our 45min Hybrid class is a mix between HIIT, Circuit and MetCon. Each class will have elements of weights, cardio, core, and surprise! This fun workout will leave you feeling worked in all the right ways! Suitable for all fitness levels.

Circuit

Come and play at our 45min Friday circuit class. Based on traditional interval training principles, you can expect either weighted exercises or a cardio blast (or a mixture!). This class consistently has different themes and workouts to keep you challenged and engaged. No session is the same!! This is a fun and dynamic class to build strength and cardiovascular fitness in a friendly atmosphere.
